What we offer:-

The Sand Hut is pleased to offer both Hosted and DIY packages which are ideal for birthday parties, hen parties, corporate team building events and entertainment programmes with care settings.

All party bookings are subject to a signed booking agreement and payment of deposit as indicated below. Please email all enquiries to thesandhut.caddington@gmail.com or contact us via this website.

Hosted Parties-

We will arrive at the agreed location prior to the event start time in order that the tables, sand and cards can be set up. Set up time does vary depending on the size of the party and this will be discussed and agreed at time of booking.

Once everyone has arrived we will go through how the activity operates, and offer hints and tips to enhance the experience - this takes on average 10-15 mins and once everyone is ready and has chosen their card we will start the activity.

The activity can take on average 45 mins but can take slightly longer as some individuals may finish more quickly. Everyone will be given the opportunity to finish their art and ensure it is safely stored in a protective sleeve ready to share with family and friends.

On average birthday parties should have a 2 hour window that will allow for comfort breaks and hand washing prior to enjoying the party food and cake!

What’s included?

Set up, the activity (all materials and supplies excluding cards) and clear down. The Sand Hut representatives will be present throughout all hosted events.

What are the costs for a hosted Sand Hut Party?

Guests are any participating child/adult undertaking the activity

● £20 hosting charge
● £4 per A4 card

A 50% non-refundable deposit of the hosting charge is required to secure a date with the remaining balance including cards due 2 weeks before the party.

Mobile DIY Kit Hire parties

This is an ideal option for those wishing to enjoy their own private sand art experience. It is especially attractive for birthday parties, corporate team building events and hen parties. We will arrive at your location at the time noted on booking confirmation. The host will agree and sign inventory (tables, sand, art cards, pickers, protective sleeves). Collection will take place at time confirmed on booking agreement.

What are the costs for a DIY KIT Sand Hut Party?

● £4 per A4 card up to 30 guests
● £3 per A5 card up to 30 guests (may be more suitable 3-5 years)

A £30 non-refundable deposit per booking is required to secure a date with the remaining balance due 2 weeks before the party. In addition a £50 damage security deposit is due on delivery and a check will be completed and agreed at delivery which will be refunded on collection providing no damage has occurred.

Travel Charges

The Sand Hut is based in Caddington, Bedfordshire (LU1 4HS) and we offer free travel within the following locations:-
Luton, Harpenden, Flamstead, Slip End, Woodside Dunstable and Whipsnade.


For further travel a small travel fee applies:-

£5 to the following locations:-
Harlington, Streatley and Barton le Clay

£10 to the following locations:-
Leighton Buzzard, Woburn, Ampthill, Flitwick & Bedford
